WHAT IS THE MAVERICK CLUB? The Maverick Club is the fundraising arm of UTA Athletics, charged with providing student-athlete scholarships, first-class facilities and the financial support necessary to run/operate each of UTA's 15 varsity sport programs. As a member of the Maverick Club, your commitment to UTA Athletics is the lifeblood of our program. UTA Athletics relies on annual contributions from alumni and friends to provide our deserving student-athletes with the necessary academic and athletic tools to compete within the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) and beyond. WHAT WE FUND The Maverick Club supports UTA Athletics by helping offset the cost of scholarships and other student-athlete related costs while providing academic support and tutoring.
